P&O Ferries have teamed up with a well known Wine Expert and Writer to offer a superb, weekend treat in France. Included is a four-course gastronomic lunch; including a glass of fizz to start, five wonderful wines chosen to match both your palate and the exquisite cuisine; and to finish the experience, a delightful dessert wine is served followed by coffee and cheese.

About your host: Guy Boursot, whose family has been growing grapes in Burgundy for many generations, is a British Wine Expert and Writer who now lives in the North of France. He has appeared on both British Television and Radio. To quote the Royal Society of Chemistry: "The reason why we ask Guy back year after year to talk to us is that not only does he have a genuine knowledge and passion for wine which will become self-evident when you hear him speak, but he also talks in straight forward language that we can all relate to and understand."

The wine list* is as follows: Crémant de Bourgogne (Sparkling Reception), Pouilly Fumé (Loire), Pouilly Fuissé (White Burgundy), Château Liversan, Haut-Médoc (Red Bordeaux), Rasteau (Red Rhône), Château du Juge, Cadillac (Dessert). All wines are included as is return cross-Channel travel with P&O Ferries from Dover to Calais.
This fantastic Wine Lovers lunch takes place in the typically quaint and historic town of Ardres, only 15 minutes by car from Calais. Directions and details of the venue will be provided at the time of booking.
